Lockin ("the App") is a focus timer. During a session it listens through the microphone so you can say a distracting thought out loud and let it go, and it can show you your own face in a mirror so you notice when you reach for the phone.
Both of those are intimate. This policy tells you exactly where that material goes. The short version: it stays on your phone, and we never receive it.
.mp4 of that session.The audio itself is never written to a file. It flows through memory into the transcriber and is gone. There is no recording to recover, export, or hand over — not by us, and not by anyone who compels us.
Transcripts, focus history and timelapse video are written to the App's private container on your device (group.mokwooinc.secondmallow). They are not uploaded. We operate no server that stores them and we have no way to read them.
Speech recognition runs on your device using Apple's Speech framework and the language models installed on it. Your speech is not sent to us for processing.
When a session ends, the App asks an AI model to pull to-dos out of what you said, so you do not have to reread the whole transcript. This means your full transcript is passed to a language model. You should know exactly which one.

The model can be wrong. Treat anything it pulls out as a suggestion to check, not a record of what you said. The transcript is the record.
If you are signed into iCloud, the App writes a small settings record to Apple's iCloud key-value store so your setup follows you between your own devices:
This is your iCloud, under your Apple Account. We cannot read it. Transcripts, timelapse video and session records are not in it.
One thing, and only if you use the friend-invite feature. The App writes to a public CloudKit database we operate:
The CloudKit user record ID is generated by Apple, is different for every app, and cannot be traced back to your Apple ID, your email, your name, or your identity in any other app. It exists so two installs can recognise each other. Nothing else is sent — not a transcript, not a focus record, not a to-do, not an identifier of your device.
If you never open the invite screen, we receive nothing at all.
The invite records live in a CloudKit public database. That word is Apple's, and it is worth being precise about it: public means the records are not scoped to one person's private iCloud, so any install of this app can look up a code and find its owner. That is the whole point — an invite has to be findable by the person who received it.
What is in those records is a six-character code, an app-scoped identifier, and a timestamp. There is no name, no email, no device identifier, no transcript, no focus history, and nothing that describes you. If someone read every record in that database they would learn that some anonymous installs invited other anonymous installs.
Nothing else the App produces is ever written to any database we operate, public or private.
The App records you talking to yourself, and it is worth saying plainly what does not happen with that.
No person at this company can hear or read it. No process scans it for keywords, sentiment, risk, or anything else. Nothing you say triggers an alert, a report, a referral, or a message to anyone. The App does not detect distress and will not respond to it.
The App is not a crisis service and no one is on the other end. If you are in danger or in crisis, contact your local emergency number or a crisis line — in Korea, 자살예방상담전화 109; in the US, 988; elsewhere, findahelpline.com lists services by country.

Add-only photo access means the App can put a video into your library and cannot read, browse, or list anything already there. Write-only calendar access means the same for your calendar: it can add an event and cannot read your schedule.
Screen Time gives the App opaque tokens, not names. We cannot see which apps you chose to block or which apps you use.
The App runs on Apple frameworks: Speech, AVFoundation, Family Controls, Managed Settings, Device Activity, EventKit, PhotoKit, StoreKit, iCloud and CloudKit. Purchases and refunds are handled entirely by Apple; we never see your payment details. Apple's own privacy policy governs Apple's handling of that data.
There is no one else.

Transcripts, focus records and timelapse video stay until you delete them or delete the App. Deleting the App removes its container and everything in it, permanently and irrecoverably. There is no copy anywhere else, so there is nothing for us to delete on your behalf and nothing we could restore.
The iCloud settings record is removed when you delete the App and sign out of, or reset, iCloud for it.
Invite records in our CloudKit database persist so codes keep working. To have yours deleted, email the address below; because a code is the record's own name, tell us the code.
The controller is Mokwoo Inc. (목우 주식회사), Republic of Korea, reachable at the address at the bottom of this page. We have not appointed a Data Protection Officer; the same address reaches the person who handles these questions.
For the only personal information we receive — the invite records — our lawful basis under the GDPR is Article 6(1)(b), performance of a contract: you asked for the referral feature and it cannot work without those two records. There is no legitimate-interest processing, no consent-based marketing, and no profiling.
For everything else there is no basis to state, because there is no processing by us. Content that never leaves your device is not something we process.
Depending on where you live you may have the right to access, correct, delete, port, or restrict your personal information, to object to processing, to withdraw consent, and to be free from discrimination or degraded service for exercising any of them. We do not charge for any of this and will not.
For almost everything the App holds, you already have the strongest form of these rights, and you do not need us: the data is on your device, in your hands, and you can read it or destroy it at any moment. Delete a session, or delete the App, and it is gone.
For the invite records, email the address below. Because an invite code is the record's own name, tell us the code. We will answer within 30 days.
If you are in the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom you may lodge a complaint with your national supervisory authority. If you are in the Republic of Korea you may apply to the Personal Information Protection Commission or its dispute mediation committee (privacy.go.kr, 118). If you are in California, you may designate an authorised agent to act for you.
The invite records sit in Apple's CloudKit infrastructure, which Apple operates across regions. We do not choose or control where Apple stores them. Nothing else we hold crosses a border because nothing else leaves your device.
If we ever learn of a breach affecting the invite records, we will notify affected users through the App and this page, and notify the authorities required by the law that applies, within the deadlines that law sets.
The App is not directed at children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect information from them. If you believe a child has used the invite feature, contact us and we will remove the record.
We may update this policy. The current version is the one published at this location, and the "Last Updated" date shows when it changed. If a change means we would begin collecting something we do not collect today, we will say so plainly before it takes effect.

사진 추가 전용 권한은 보관함에 영상을 넣을 수만 있고 이미 있는 것을 읽거나 훑거나 목록으로 볼 수 없다는 뜻입니다. 캘린더 쓰기 전용도 같습니다. 일정을 더할 수만 있고 일정을 읽을 수 없습니다.
스크린 타임은 이 앱에 이름이 아니라 불투명한 토큰을 줍니다. 어떤 앱을 막기로 했는지, 어떤 앱을 쓰는지 회사는 볼 수 없습니다.
이 앱은 애플 프레임워크 위에서 돕니다. Speech, AVFoundation, Family Controls, Managed Settings, Device Activity, EventKit, PhotoKit, StoreKit, iCloud, CloudKit 입니다. 결제와 환불은 전부 애플이 처리하며 회사는 결제 정보를 보지 않습니다. 애플이 그 데이터를 다루는 방식에는 애플의 개인정보 처리방침이 적용됩니다.
그 밖에는 아무도 없습니다.
전사, 집중 기록, 타임랩스 영상은 사용자가 지우거나 앱을 지울 때까지 남습니다. 앱을 지우면 그 저장 공간과 그 안의 모든 것이 영구히 복구 불가능하게 사라집니다. 다른 어디에도 사본이 없으므로 회사가 대신 지울 것도, 되살릴 수 있는 것도 없습니다.
iCloud 설정 기록은 앱을 지우고 그 앱에 대한 iCloud 를 로그아웃하거나 초기화하면 없어집니다.
회사의 CloudKit 데이터베이스에 있는 초대 기록은 코드가 계속 동작하도록 남습니다. 본인 것의 삭제를 원하면 아래 주소로 알려 주십시오. 코드가 그 기록의 이름이므로 코드를 함께 알려 주셔야 합니다.
회사가 처리하는 개인정보는 초대 기록 하나뿐입니다. 나머지는 기기를 떠나지 않으므로 회사의 처리가 아닙니다.

회사는 정보주체에게 법적 효과나 그에 준하는 영향을 미치는 자동화된 결정을 하지 않습니다.
이 앱에서 도는 인공지능은 하나뿐이고, 기기 안에서 전사를 읽어 할 일 문장을 제안하는 것입니다. 그 결과는 화면에 제안으로만 뜨고 이용자가 고릅니다. 이용자에 대한 평가·선별·거부·차등을 낳지 않으며 회사에 전달되지도 않습니다. 그러므로 이에 대해 거부하거나 설명을 요구할 대상이 없습니다. 원하지 않으면 기기 설정에서 애플 인텔리전스를 끄면 추출 자체가 돌지 않습니다.
정보주체는 개인정보 처리와 관련한 문의, 불만 처리, 피해 구제를 위 연락처로 요청할 수 있으며 회사는 지체 없이 답변합니다.
거주 지역에 따라 개인정보의 열람·정정·삭제·이동을 요구하고, 처리의 정지나 제한을 요구하며, 동의를 철회하고, 그 권리를 행사했다는 이유로 불이익이나 서비스 저하를 받지 않을 권리가 있습니다. 이에 대해 회사는 어떤 비용도 청구하지 않습니다.
이 앱이 지닌 것 대부분에 대해 이용자는 이미 가장 강한 형태의 권리를 가지고 있고 회사가 필요 없습니다. 그 데이터가 이용자의 기기 안, 이용자의 손에 있습니다. 세션을 지우거나 앱을 지우면 사라집니다.
초대 기록에 대해서는 아래 주소로 연락하십시오. 코드가 그 기록의 이름이므로 코드를 함께 알려 주셔야 합니다. 30일 안에 답변합니다.
권리 행사는 법정대리인이나 위임받은 사람을 통해서도 할 수 있습니다.
초대 기록은 애플이 여러 지역에 걸쳐 운영하는 CloudKit 기반 위에 놓입니다. 애플이 어디에 저장하는지는 회사가 고르거나 통제하지 않습니다. 그 밖의 것은 기기를 떠나지 않으므로 국경을 넘지 않습니다.
초대 기록에 영향을 주는 유출을 알게 되면 앱과 이 페이지를 통해 해당 이용자에게 알리고, 적용되는 법이 정한 기한 안에 관계 기관에 신고합니다.
이 앱은 만 13세 미만을 대상으로 하지 않으며 그들의 정보를 알면서 수집하지 않습니다. 아동이 초대 기능을 사용한 것으로 보이면 연락 주십시오. 해당 기록을 삭제하겠습니다.
회사는 이 방침을 변경할 수 있습니다. 이 위치에 게시된 것이 현행 방침이며 "최종 업데이트" 날짜가 변경 시점을 나타냅니다. 오늘 수집하지 않는 것을 수집하기 시작하는 변경이라면 효력이 생기기 전에 분명히 알리겠습니다.
